This article explains how to download your WriteHuman invoices and receipts, and how to get your company name and tax details onto them. It is meant for anyone who handles billing or expense records.
Where to find your invoices and receipts
This extends our article How to Access Your WriteHuman Invoices and Receipts. Here is the quick download path:
Log in at writehuman.ai.
Open My Account.
Click Manage Subscription. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal.
Scroll down to Invoice History at the bottom.
Select any entry to view or download the invoice and its receipt.
Receipts are not emailed to you. You can view and download both the invoice and the receipt at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal using the steps above.
How WriteHuman invoices are generated
Invoices and receipts are created automatically. They use the account email and the billing details captured at the moment the payment is made. A few things follow from this:
Every invoice is tied to the account email that paid for the subscription.
Past invoices cannot be manually edited after they are issued.
A past invoice cannot be re-issued under a different company name after the fact.
Because past documents are fixed, the reliable way to control what appears on an invoice is to set your details correctly before you subscribe.
How to get your company name on invoices
To have your company name show on your invoices, set the account up as a company account before you buy:
Use your company email address for the account.
Pay with your company card.
At checkout, enter your company name in the Cardholder Name field. That name is what appears on the resulting invoice.
Please note the checkout form has a limited set of fields. You can enter your email, the cardholder name, and your country or region.
A note on unfamiliar charges
On your bank or card statement, a genuine WriteHuman charge appears under the descriptor WRITEHUMAN.AI, not under your email address. If you see a charge from a different merchant name, or from a similarly named company or product, it may not be from WriteHuman. Check the merchant name on the charge and compare it to your invoice history in the Stripe Customer Portal before reaching out.
