What's tools does WriteHuman offer?
The Humanizer is the main tool. You paste in AI text, click a button, and get back natural writing. Alongside it you'll find an AI Detector for checking how natural any text reads, an AI Image Detector, and a free Word Counter.
Most people start with the Humanizer, so that's what the rest of this guide focuses on.
Step 1: Sign up
Go to writehuman.ai and click Sign Up. You can use email, Apple, or Google. You'll land in the Humanizer right away.
You don't need a payment method to try it. Free accounts get a small number of requests to test the tool before picking a plan.
Step 2: Humanize your first piece of text
Paste your AI-generated text into the input box. It can come from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, or anything else. The source doesn't matter.
Pick a mode (more on that below) and click Write Human. Your output appears in seconds, with each sentence rewritten for natural phrasing and varied sentence shape.
Standard vs Enhanced
Both modes are included on every paid plan. The difference is how deeply WriteHuman rewrites.
Standard is faster and a lighter touch. Good for text that's already close to natural and just needs polish.
Enhanced rewrites more deeply. Reach for it when you want the most natural output, or when Standard didn't quite land. If a Standard run doesn't sound the way you want, run the same text again with Enhanced. That solves most cases.
Output variations
Depending on your plan, WriteHuman gives you several versions of the humanized text from a single request:
Basic plan: 2 variations
Pro plan: 3 variations
Ultra plan: 5 variations
If one version feels off, another usually lands.
The built-in AI Detector
Every plan includes detection checks. After humanizing, you can scan your output to see how natural each sentence reads. You'll get a sentence-by-sentence breakdown.
If a sentence or two reads as artificial, copy just those back into the Humanizer and run them again. You don't have to re-process the whole document.
Plans and limits
A request is one click of the Humanize button. Each plan has a monthly request limit and a per-request word limit.
Plan | Monthly requests | Words per request | Variations |
Basic | 80 | 600 | 2 |
Pro | 200 | 1,200 | 3 |
Ultra | Unlimited | 3,000 | 5 |
If your document is longer than the per-request word limit, split it into chunks and run them separately. Full pricing, including the yearly discount, is at writehuman.ai/pricing. Plans cancel anytime.
Tips for better results
A few things consistently improve output quality:
Start with cleaner input. The less robotic and over-formatted your AI draft is, the better the humanized version will be. Asking the original AI for a "casual, direct" tone before you bring the text into WriteHuman makes a real difference.
Humanize in coherent chunks. Running a full section together produces better rewrites than one sentence at a time, because the engine has more context to work with.
Use Enhanced for important work. Professional writing, client deliverables, and SEO content all benefit from it.
Read your output before publishing. WriteHuman preserves your tone, but a quick read-through still catches the rare word choice that doesn't fit your voice.
Mobile app
WriteHuman is on iOS and Android. Same engine and plans, with your account synced across web and mobile. Download from the App Store or Google Play.
API access
If you're building humanization into a product or workflow, the API gives you one REST endpoint, 40+ languages, and per-word pricing. Full docs at writehuman.ai/api.
